Sea Thrift is a neat one-bed chalet in the centre of Gorran Haven tucked away in a quiet location about 500 yards from the beach. It is ideal for a single person or a couple requiring accommodation in the centre of the village. There’s a lovely patio garden and a quiet place to sit in the sun by the front door.

As well as being convenient for the beach and coastal path, Sea Thrift is a cosy spot for an off season break. It is well insulated with adjustable radiators in all rooms and fully double glazed - highly suitable for those seeking to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall out of peak season. Sea Thrift is not suitable for children and babies.

Sea Thrift is approached up a sloping private driveway from Canton. You can drive up to the front of the chalet to unload, but vehicles must be parked on the street below (out of season) or in season in the village car park (at a cost of about £30 a week) 150m away.

Front patio: A low hedge surrounds a small slate paved patio with seating in front of the chalet. Wooden French doors open to the open plan living area with comfy seating and tv, dining table and well appointed kitchen area.

Lounge area has sofa, armchair, TV, DVD, CD/cassette/radio. An oak dining-table and chairs seat 4.

The kitchen area has fitted units, an electric hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, toaster, integrated fridge with freezer compartment and integrated washer/dryer. There is an iron and small ironing board plus all the necessary equipment for cooking and dining.

The double bedroom has a 4’6” double, good quality divan bed. There are bedside cabinets each with side lamps. There is also a linen cupboard with small hanging space and a full length mirror.

The en suite bathroom has bath with shower, wc and hand basin.

Side patio: French doors from bedroom open onto the side patio with slate paving surrounded by curved slate topped walls. This is a pleasant place to relax with garden furniture and table for dining.

Sea Thrift situated on the raised terrace which is above and parallel to Canton, the main street in Gorran Haven. Access is up a steep sloping private driveway belonging to the main house adjacent to the chalet. The main house faces the other way and so does not greatly overlook it. Parking for Sea Thrift is in the village carpark 50 metres away.
