Alba Studio is a large sunlit room with patio doors opening on to a south facing balcony deck with a pleasing view of the sea and across the valley to wooded countryside. It is in a raised position and not overlooked. Parking is on it’s own driveway in front. A very comfortable and attractive private retreat.
Apartment Layout
The studio is attached to one end of a modern house in Perhaver Park, a quiet road of south facing modern houses above the older village of Gorran Haven.
The studio is approached from the quiet road in front of the house, via it’s own driveway parking space. A short sloping path leads to the front door at the side. A stream flows along the side of the house - at a lower level - which can be heard from the deck; It is a peaceful spot.
Inside, the studio room has a super kingsize bed (which can be divided into twin beds) and a small but well equipped and practical, kitchen area and a small dining table and chairs for two. Flat screen 19 inch TV & DVD hung to wall opposite bed. Wifi broadband enabled.
The kitchen area has fitted wall and floor units, an electric 2 ring hob, oven, under counter fridge with freezer compartment, microwave. There is a plentiful supply of plain china and all the usual glasses, pans and utensils.
There is good sized shower room with WC, pedestal wash basin and glazed shower enclosure with good quality electric shower.
The large bed is positioned to get the morning light through white louvered shutters that cover the glass wall – from bed the sea is visible.
The south facing deck is 10ft by 12ft and is really an outside room. It has a good quality wooden outside dining table (seating for 4) and parasol. The deck is not overlooked by neighbouring properties and has tall screens on either side which frame the beautiful view.
Alba Studio works well in both summer and winter, being highly insulated (good heating & double glazing) and having one wall all glass which can be opened up to bring interior and exterior spaces together. In either season the light and the view permeate the interior space very well.
Serviced washing can be done by arrangement.
One small dog may be accommodated by arrangement (£25 charge).
